I like these but I'm not sure why exactly. My instincts tell me I shouldn't. They assault my mind with jumbled and disturbing fragments of sound and images - carousel music, slamming doors, shattering glass, the rapid clicking of sterile heels on a polished floor.
I went to Bath once and Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta. What is the deal with all those big boulders sticking out of the ground on the plain there? What's up with that? You'd think the Government would have cleaned up that eyesore by now, Innit?
